Robert Morgan

Director & Senior Ecologist (Mammal Specialist)
Rob is the longest-serving member of Just Mammals and has worked in ecology since 2006. In all that time his most notable ecological experience was finding a barbastelle bat in a barn in 2011. The only experience that might top it for Rob is surviving a meeting with a wild boar.
Rob enjoys Preliminary Roost Assessment surveys where he can search for evidence of bats and use his skills to work out how bats are using features in a building. He holds licences for bats and dormouse and is working towards renewing his barn owl licence and getting one for GCN. His advice for anyone wanting to get into ecology is to volunteer and gain as much experience as possible.
In his spare time Rob likes to seek out and visit ancient standing stones. He enjoys motor-sports and cooking. But not at the same time.
